Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)

Overview

A Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) is a widely recognized, professional, terminal business-focused degree in Business and Management that not only identifies graduates as an expert in their field, but results in a tangible set of management and decision-making skills that may qualify them for senior-level leadership positions and new career opportunities. It also prepares students with advanced skills that are necessary for conducting real-world quantitative and qualitative research and publishing in research publications.

This degree program offers concentrations that are designated as STEM by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)*. F-1 students may be eligible for OPT STEM Extension benefits.

A general DBA is designed to give a broad look at the different aspects of what it takes to work in many areas of the business field. Courses will give the chance to study foundation business concepts, such as ethics and business research.
